RailRadarUS is a public train-sighting map for everyday freight, passenger, heritage, special-interest, and ordinary railroad movements.
How it works
Visitors can view active sightings without an account. Reporter accounts can post geotagged reports. Admin accounts moderate reports and manage reporter roles.
Sign up
Create a reporter account from the Account tab. Production sign-up should add email verification, password reset, rate limits, and terms acceptance.
Contact
Future contact tools should include general feedback, moderation appeals, railroad data corrections, and abuse reports.
Privacy
Precise GPS is used for sightings. Production should explain retention, public report visibility, account data, and location privacy choices.
Terms
Production terms should prohibit trespassing, unsafe rail activity, harassment, spam, impersonation, and knowingly false reports.
